Lie- Jed claims he has implemented an apprenticeship and training program that are now thriving.
Truth– In the September 2007 union meeting Jed stated that the local currently had two people working under the apprenticeship classification. It is also well known the local has no training facility nor does it pay for members to be trained elsewhere

Lie– Jed claims that under his leadership the local has continued to prosper over the last three years
Truth- According the figures put out by the Department of Labor our local has lost around 300 members since Jed took office however Jed has seen fit to give himself a six figure salary and benefit package. Who do you think is really the one prospering

Lie– Jed claims that communication between office staff and members has greatly increased due to the hard work of the members first team.
Truth- Anyone who’s needed to contact a business agent lately knows how they avoid phone calls. Jed also said he was working on getting a website up which has not happened in his three year term.

Lie– Jed claims that members are kept well informed and receive newsletters regularly.
Truth- Members are very often kept in the dark about a variety of issues and the newsletter which was suppose to out quarterly is getting out twice a year at best.

Truth– Jed has not organized a single company since he came into the local and in fact has lost several contractors working under the heavy agreement.

Truth– With two defined benefit pension plans and a 401k all paid for by members Jed has only worked to improve his own retirement
